Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing entertainment-focused company, is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead their technology strategy as they scale toward becoming a global enterprise serving tens of millions of users by 2030. This role will drive the company's AI-first development approach, leveraging generative AI and modern development tools to maximize productivity, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• **Technology Strategy & Architecture**: Define and execute technology strategy aligned with business objectives; design scalable, secure, and reliable platform architecture
• **AI-First Development**: Establish development standards leveraging generative AI, MCP tools, and modern CI/CD practices to maximize team productivity and code quality
• **Platform & Infrastructure**: Oversee platform/SRE/observability (availability, performance, cost optimization); implement zero-trust security, incident response, and BCP
• **Data & ML Infrastructure**: Design and operate data/ML platforms including streaming, Feature Store, Vector DB, and RAG infrastructure
• **Engineering Organization**: Build, recruit, evaluate, and develop engineering teams; design organizational structure and cultivate engineering culture
• **Technology Governance**: Ensure robust security, privacy, and compliance frameworks; lead critical incident response and problem management
• **Technical Standards**: Define development standards incorporating AI tools, automated testing, and change management processes

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience as Head of Engineering, VP of Engineering, or CTO
• Proven track record designing and operating large-scale, high-traffic systems
• Hands-on cloud production experience (AWS/GCP) with demonstrable security and availability decision-making
• Track record of improving organizational performance through engineering recruitment, evaluation, and development

Nice to Have

• CTO experience at a startup or technology leadership at global scale
• Led SOC2/ISO27001 or similar security/compliance initiatives
• Designed and operated AI/ML platforms (Feature Store, RAG, evaluation infrastructure)
• Multi-locale or international market platform operations experience

What We Offer

• **Compensation**: Annual salary ¥30,000,000+ (negotiable based on experience); executive compensation, stock options, and performance bonuses available

雇用条件

• **年収**: 1,500万円〜（経験・能力に応じて決定。役員報酬・SO・賞与等の詳細は個別協議）
• **残業**: 月平均20時間程度（固定残業代30時間分含む、超過分別途支給）
